What it does
Reads, never writes
Every request to QuickBooks is a read. BizLedger cannot create, edit or delete a record in your books.
Approved on Intuit's screen
Access starts only when the owner approves it on Intuit's own sign-in page, and ends the moment it is disconnected in QuickBooks.
Stored only on one computer
Records, the app's secret and the sign-in tokens stay on the operator's own Windows computer, protected by that Windows account.
How it works
- Connect. The owner starts the connection from the local app and approves it on Intuit's screen. More on connecting.
- Read. The app reads accounting records and reports, such as journal entries, purchases and profit and loss.
- Keep. A local archive is kept for bookkeeping, reconciliation and tax preparation.
- Disconnect any time. Disconnecting in QuickBooks revokes access immediately. How to disconnect.
